The Funding Exchange, formed in 2005 by attorneys Brian Garelli and William Pintas, addresses the growing problem of double pre-settlement fundings for the same case (or client). This problem arises when an injury client applies for multiple pre-settlement loans from different funding companies. The Funding Exchange solves this problem for all participating companies.

As CEO and President of Preferred Capital Funding, attorneys Pintas and Garelli also saw the need for funding companies to have access to the following services:

  • A “market” to sell their portfolios.
  • Access to portfolio run-off services for funding companies or their creditors.
  • Funding companies seeking partner companies to participate on large fundings.
  • An easy approach to selling their companies.
